Are you sitting comfortably? Good. Well, don't tell the children, but there is more than one Father Christmas.

There is a Santa Rat who can't stand kids; there are Santas who drink (in the North Pole pub, naturally); there's one who visits a hypnotherapist to gain confidence. There's even a Singing Santa who not only delivers telegrams, but also takes off her cloak to show nicely filled stockings. There are, of course, traditional Santas - who sit all day in grottoes just being nice to children - children like Lucy, Jane and Timothy who still believe in the one and only Santa and - talk tonight about the magic of Christmas.

Sadly, the age of innocence is soon over. So make sure, the children are tucked up in bed and fast asleep before this programme.
