Seventy-five years later there are 16 million Scouts around the world. Rugby Union: Ireland win the Triple Crown while in Rugby League the Challenge Cup Final goes to a replay.
British World Champions include JAYNE TORVILL and CHRISTOPHER DEAN (ice dancing), JOCKY WILSON (darts) and LUCINDA GREEN (equestrian) while there's horror and courage in the story of motor cycling's BARRY SHEENE.
