Irene Handl , Richard Vernon
Barbara Murray , Patsy Rowlands and Barry Evans
Small-time detective Bernie, Weinstock appears to be failing in his attempt to track down six people who haven't been seen for 30 years. Four of them have already died in extremely suspicious circumstances just as he made contact with them and attempts have been made on Bernie's own life, the latest of these when his car was booby-trapped in Tunisia. Did he escape? Is there a connection between the six people on the list? Who is the mysterious limping man who appears to be behind all the deaths? What is the significance of the mermaid ring?
