As well as the competition for the best pedigree dog in Britain, there's a second great event at Crufts - the annual Obedience Championships.
Each dog has already won at a Championship Obedience Show, and this will ensure a demonstration of the highest calibre of control and the close relationship between dog and handler.

In 1883, after a British colonel and his Egyptian army were slaughtered by followers of an Arab religious fanatic, General Gordon was sent to Khartoum to evacuate troops and civilians. Gordon however preferred his own, totally different, plan of action and this spectacular film re-creates the tragic results while portraying accurately and sympathetically the complex, idealistic character of the man.
