Travel back 4,000 years in time as Simon, Chris and Tina explore one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Pyramids. In blistering temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit, Simon nearly makes it to the top of the biggest of the three pyramids at Giza, near Cairo, while Tina keeps cool inside the burial chamber of the Pharaoh Cheops. Chris explores the bottom of the Red Sea with an underwater camera and Simon joins the long line of Blue Peter presenters who've bitten the sands of the desert, thrown from the back of a bad-tempered camel!

The Third Man
Congressman John Anderson is the third man in the 1980 race for the White House. Six months ago his rating in the opinion polls was zero. Today it stands at around 25 per cent, posing a serious threat to the main contenders CARTER and REAOAN.
Anderson's dramatic and unexpected rise in the opinion polls stems from the Americans' increasing disillusionment with their plight. They are attracted to Anderson's apparently honest answers to America's pressing problems. The prospect of a President Anderson, unthinkable a few months ago, is no longer dismissed as pure fantasy.
Peter Taylor reports that if Anderson's popularity continues to increase, his campaign as an independent may have a profound effect on the November election. Carter and Reagan could be denied an outright majority and the election would depend on the Congress for the first time in 150 years.
