This film explores the animal community of a New England beaver pond - a world of hydras, water-fleas and nymphs of mayfly and dragonfly. It reveals the elaborate food chain that links them to the animals living on and around the water - including the beavers themselves, upon whose industrious damming efforts all ultimately depend.
