An unconquered overhang in the Outer Hebrides

Three men attempt to climb Strone Ulladale -The Nose - Britain's ultimate challenge in technical rock climbing. Like a gigantic Egyptian Sphinx The Nose stands 800 feet high and overhangs 150 feet. The climbers must spend three days and two nights on the rock face, sleeping in hammocks suspended over the valley far below and lashed by gales most of the time. The film shows the excitement and danger of climbing in this upside-down world.
