A special report by Trevor Philpott on the nine million people who have fled from terror.
Since last March millions of refugees have poured over the border from East Pakistan into India. Through the eyes of two families we learn just what it's like to be a refugee without a future in West Bengal now.
At the same time the film examines the problems for India in having to house and feed these millions in a country already desperately over-populated and under-developed and shows how the strain is beginning to tell.
