1.10, 1.40* Show Jumping: The BBC Grandstand Trophy Competition
Leading riders compete in the third round of this special competition being staged in the famous indoor arena at the National Equestrian Centre, Stoneleigh.
The results of the three qualifying rounds will be averaged out to find five riders to go forward to the finals, to be held at Stoneleigh on 20 February. These finals have an unusual feature in that the competitors also ride the other finalists' mounts.
This remarkable new arena has limited spectator accommodation so can only be used for televised events - as well as its normal function as an indoor school for all classes of rider.
