'The chief end of Man is to glorify God' says the Shorter Catechism. But many of the roles given in the past to God have been taken over by Science. Must then the concept of Man be modified?
At this year's meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science at Cambridge, one section deals with the broader implications of science.
