Maurice Friedman , Professor of Philosophy and Literature at Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York, has recently published a study of Martin Buber 's thought under the title Martin Buber : the Life of Dialogue. Ronald Gregor Smith gives some personal reflections arising from this book and from meetings with Buber himself.
