A group of seven talks
4-War and Individual Rights by E. C. S. Wade
Downing Professor of the Laws of England. University of Cambridge 'It can, I think, be claimed,' says Professor Wade, 'that the two wars of this century have shown us that, as regards the civil population, freedom of the person can be jealously safeguarded and freedom of speech left largely unrestricted. On the other hand, freedom of property can be sacrificed without seriously compromising the other freedoms.'

Talk by Norman Goodall
This talk describes the difficulties of preaching and, with much illustration, shows its defects. Despite the many failures of preaching, Norman Goodall believes that it is one of the noblest functions of man provided that the Word of God can be made to be heard behind the words used.
