Talk by Alan Bullock
On rhe occasion of the twenty-first anniversary of the BBC's External Services Alan Bullock recalls the part played during the war by the European Service and speaks of the problems of broadcasting to occupied Europe. The speaker, who is Censor of St. Catherine's Society, Oxford, was on the staff of the European Service from 1940 to 1945.
