F. Kingdon-Ward , botanist and explorer, has discovered and introduced into cultivation in this country many beautiful and hitherto unknown plants, including the Tibetan blue poppy. In this talk he traces the history of orchid-hunting and describes some of his own experiences in search of orchids jn Tibet, Burma, and China.
