A holiday programme by S. P. B. Mais
The Pleasure Beach at Blackpool-a Youth Hostel-a village cricket ground-a yacht-an anglers' club -a holiday camp-Brighton pier-these are a few of S. P. B. Mais's ports of call with the BBC Recording Van during the last few weeks, and tonight, with the help of the voices of holiday-makers themselves, he gives a picture of the millions enjoying themselves, each after his own fashion.

The Hon. Harold Nicolson ,
C.M.G., M.P.
That well-known broadcaster, the Hon. Harold Nicolson , whose last broadcast, in April, was an entertaining talk on Dick Turpin in ' Forgotten Anniversaries ', comes back to the microphone today in a new weekly series.
He is to give thirteen talks on anything and everything of interest occurring in the preceding week. Bits of news, not necessarily political ; gossip, not necessarily social ; information, not necessarily literary.
News he hears about-at Westminster, in Mayfair, wherever he may have been-he will pass on to listeners week by week.
