This "scintillating summer show" is produced by Leslie Vernon, a modern mirth-maker, under the direct supervision of Will Tissington and Katharine Craig.
Among the cast, besides Leslie Vernon, are Carl Hadden, speciality dancer, who was at one time with the "Fol-de-Rols"; Alice Coty, entertainer; Newton Lees, bass-baritone; Herbert Aldridge, another old "Fol-de-Rol"; Pauline Ward, soubrette and dancer, who has been televised; Gladys Penny, soprano; Arthur Astaire, a young comedian and dancer with a famous name, who, oddly enough, played Fred Astaire's role in "Gay Divorce" on tour; The Cabaret Girls, starring Margaret Mercer, Reymonde Seton, Joan Stacey, and Ruby Savage, who have appeared at all the big West-End hotels; and Barry Humphrey, musical director, who leads his Five Rhythm Boys and has arranged all the musical numbers.

Tom Jenkins , of the Plaza, Swan-sea, who will give his first recital on the BBC Theatre Organ tonight, has broadcast 220 times, but his most painful memory is of his first broadcast to the Empire, when he was still suffering from a sprained ankle through falling down a flight of steps four days before. Determined not to miss the broadcast, he had the swollen ankle massaged every hour for four days, finishing up with a last-minute massage in the front seats of the cinema-and got through.

Few programmes can have had a busier career than ' Yes and Back Again', ', E. J. King Bull's allegorical fantasy founded on Walter de la Mare's ' The Story of this Book'.
It was first broadcast in September, 1930, with Howard Rose as producer, and made a great impression by its other-worldly atmosphere and its air of meaning just a little more than one could understand. It was revived in April, 1931, and in December the same year, and was broadcast from Belfast in November, 1934. Once more it is ' back again ', and listeners are to have this opportunity of yet another peep into the mysterious House of Thrae.
