Relayed from
Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot
All the troops in the ist Cavalry Brigade and the ist and 2nd Divisions of the Army will take part
Hitherto, reviews at Aldershot have been held on Laffan's Plain, and the troops taking part were drawn up in line. But the Army of 1935 is so largely mechanised that it is difficult to convey a true impression of it by the old method. Today invisibility is the thing—invisibility of clothing and of equipment-and Rushmoor Arena is more suited for the nearer view that is necessary.
About 11,000 troops will take part.
They will consist of all Arms of the Service drawn from the Aldershot Command, and will include mechanised artillery and a complete Tank Battalion.

Few artists can boast that a new act booked for a trial week at a suburban music-hall was given a date at the London Coliseum the following week and obtained bookings for five years. Yet that happened to Jenny Howard. This star of the films, the music-hall, and the microphone arrived by air from Italy only yesterday to broadcast from St. George's Hall tonight. She has been out there making films.
Phyllis Robins sang herself to stardom on the air with Jack Hylton , Ambrose, Charlie Kunz , Henry Hall.
She is said to have the biggest fan mail of any young woman in the country.
That fine artist George Jackley has been principal comedian in the Lyceum pantomimes for a good many years. His partner ' Him ' is none other than the well-known comedian Bardy Russell. Favourites in James Pickard and Hal Jones complete a tip-top programme.
