Leader, Louis Levitus

The career of Trefor Jones, who has appeared with success in Tannhauser and The Mastersingers at Covent Garden, and who was the star of Tanlivity Towers, is all the more remarkable when it is remembered that he was originally a coal miner in South Wales. He is a native of Cymmer, Port Talbot. It was unthinkable that with a voice such as his he should remain in the mines. His chance came when he won a scholarship at the Royal College of Music.
