The Rev. F. W. Gilby, Chaplain to the Somersetshire Deaf and Dumb Mission, was
Chaplain at the first church ever erected specially for the Deaf and Dumb, S. Saviour's, Oxford Street, London. He is himself the son of deaf-mute parents, and he will tell of what it means to be deaf and of the things that are done to help the 400 deaf and dumb in Somerset.
