Alan and Jane Burnham lost their only child Carol when she was five years old. They longed for another child but Jane Burnham was not able to bear one. So they decided to adopt a child through the National Children Adoption Association. This programme describes the carefullv safeguarded methods by which a child may be adopted in this country.
