' At Home and Abroad' has now been broadcast bi-weekly for nearly a year. During the past twelve months it has brought to the microphone an ever-lengthening list of distinguished speakers, many of world renown. The names of those taking part are not usually announced in advance, since the programme is planned on a highly topical basis and the items composing it are seldom finally settled before the morning of the broadcast. ' At Home and Abroad ' has been developed as a new form of radio journalism and owes much to the willing co-operation of eminent visitors to London, some of whom have broadcast at short notice.
