For Children of Most Ages

'Said the Cat to the Dog': 1: 'Kidneys for Breakfast'
A series of plays about Mompty and Peckham and the Jackson family
Written for Children's Hour by Martin Armstrong
Production by Eve Burgess
Many of you will remember Mompty the Cat and Peckham the Dog, who live with the Jackson family - Mum, Dad, Diana, and Ronnie - at the Laurels. (Or perhaps it would be truer to say that Mompty and Peckham graciously allow the Jacksons to live with them.)
Mompty often annoys Peckham by telling him to mind his own business, but today you can hear how she decides to mind it for him, which he dislikes even more.

5.30 For Older Children
'Tam, Short for Tamburlaine': 1: 'The Fight'
by Mary E.Patchett
Further memories of the Australian outback and of the author's outstanding horse Tamburlaine and her dog Ajax.

London Jewish Male Choir
Director, Martin White
The Jewish Year 5715 began on the eve of September 27, followed by the statutory Ten Days of Penitence, which end at nightfall on the Day of Atonement, October 7. Zocharti Loch is a message of comfort from the prophet Jeremiah; Berosh Hashana is a powerful and moving prayer, composed by the legendary martyr Rabbi Amnon of Mayence, in which ' it is decided how many shall pass away, and how many be born'; and the Kol Nidrei is the opening prayer of the evening service for the Day of Atonement, after the fast begins.
