Appeal on behalf of the Anglo-Indian Schools of the Indian
Church Aid Association, by the Rt. Rev. Christopher Robinson , Bishop of Lucknow
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to [address removed]
The Indian Church Aid Association helps to support the Church schools in India, Pakistan, and Burma for the children of the Anglo-Indian community. The Anglo-Indians are a community of mixed race which has grown up during the long British connection with India. Their language is English and they are Christians.
The life of the community has been built on an excellent education of mind and character in the Church schools established all over the country. Many parents, however, cannot afford the full school fees, or in many cases any fee at all, and the Indian Church Aid Association aims to provide bursaries at an average cost of £ 25 a year, and the endeavour is to raise £ 5,000 a year for this purpose.

Part 4
Young Jolyon Forsyte has at last made up a quarrel which took place between himself and his father fourteen years ago when he left his wife and daughter June. June's mother died, and the girl was brought up by her grandfather.
Meanwhile, the marriage of Soames
Forsyte, the. Man of Property, seems to be foundering, for Soames cannot stand the coldness of his beautiful wife Irene. Moreover she is making herself too charming towards Philip Bosinney , the young architect who is engaged to June, and Philip is designing a country house for Soames at Robin Hill.
