5— 'In the Hands of the Enemy '
Produced by David Davis
Richard Hannay and his friends felt secure when they took Valdemar Haraldsen to Laverlaw, the Scottish home of Sandy, Lord Clanroyden. But then they learned that their enemies had discovered the address of the school in Northamptonshire where Haraldsen had placed his little daughter, Anna. Lombard drove down, rescued her in the nick of time, and brought her up to Laverlaw, pursued by Haraldsen's enemies
Sandy rejoined them at Laverlaw, in his usual unexpected way, and called a council of war. He said that there was only one thing to do: to go to Haraldsen's island, the Island of Sheep, and fight the thing out there.
