A series of four talks
4-The Source of Christian Values
by Professor John Baillie , Principal of New College,
Edinburgh
Earlier talks in this series have examined the relation between Christian and liberal values, seeking to show that despite the large area of agreement these two values are distinct. Dr. John Baillie concerns himself with Christian values and shows their special meaning in relation to their source. He shows that when these values become secularised and detached from their context they undergo a disastrous change, and in the end become so warped as to be no longer recognisably Christian at all.
