Appeal on behalf of Toe H, by Sir William Hamilton Fyfe, LL.D.
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to [address removed]
First founded in 1915 by ' Tubby ' Clayton in Talbot House. Poperinghe, Toe H and its Women's Section today are active in 2,000 places at home and across the world. There are also clubs for the Forces and houses (called ' Marks ') for young men starting hfe in the great cities. As a practical expression of its Christian basis members are called upon to give thought for the needs of others; they serve the old and young, the lonely and forgotten, and many causes that require voluntary help. Opportunities for service are increasing; with the branches growing in number a bigger full-time staff is a requirement that can only be provided if a larger income is available. An appeal is made for £ 10.000 more in 1951 and an additional sum of the same amount for repairing the damage (due to war and age) in eighteen ' Marks ' in this country.
