played by Felton Rapley
Those who enjoy Felton Rapley's light, popular theatre organ programmes have an opportunity today of hearing him play serious organ music for a change. Listeners who have been following the Ralph Hill-Gordon Glover controversy in the RADIO TIMES will be particularly interested to hear how Rapley treats real organ music. It is interesting to note that he was a chorister at Winchester Cathedral and received his musical training from Dr. Prendergast. its famous organist, to whom he was pupil assistant for three years. He entered the cinema* industry at the age of seventeen.

Group Captain W. Helmore
Many listeners who have enjoyed Group Captain Helmore's previous talks in ' War Commentary ' will have recognised a voice that came to them as a pre-war friend. For many years he broadcast from Schneider Trophy races, air pageants, and starts of great air contests. In his own words, he came to the microphone for War Commentary as one who for years had attended rehearsals of plays and was now talking about a first-night.

(First broadcast performance)
