This play has not so far had the happy broadcasting history it deserves.
Originally announced for production in the first week of September, it was cancelled because of the outbreak of war. At the first opportunity it was given a place in the revised programmes on the afternoon of September 27. This coincided with Budget Day, and though the broadcast of the play was started it was quickly faded out for an announcement about income tax. ' Third time pays for all ', and it is confidently hoped that listeners will find that Further Outlook, Warmer has been worth waiting for.
