Mac will tell you another story of that engaging little bear, Mary Plain , by Gwynedd Rae
Winter is on the way, and in this story you will hear how Mary Plain and her playmates saw snow for the first time. What with snowballing, and sliding on the water frozen in the tank, the little bears thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Best of all their games was the making of a snowman, complete with a carrot for a mouth!
When the thaw came, and the snow turned to slush, Mary Plain was not so pleased with life—particularly when she developed a toothache.
Being another helping of this popular mixture of Variety and community singing with Murray and Mooney, Bertha Willmott , and Suzette Tarri

Book and lyrics by James Dyrenforth. Music by John Burnaby
Produced by David Porter
A middle-aged business man meeting David Porter the other day remarked: 'Khaki tickles me so. I hope they don't call me up.' And this tickled Porter so much that he asked James Dyrenforth to write a sketch round it. The result is this revue.
Most of the sketches are original, and the fact that they are by Dyrenforth, part-author with Max Kester of Adolf in Blunderland, broadcast quite recently, ensures that they will be funny. That brilliant pianist, John Burnaby, has composed the music of two notable numbers, 'Swing that Man' is as hot and topical as the other, 'Romance in the Dark', is sweet and sentimental.
