with Arthur Young and his Swingtette
Written and produced by David Miller Though he started life as a serious musician, Arthur Young has now become one of the leading figures in the world of jazz and swing. His compositions include a tone poem, which was performed by Ambrose at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Young is one of the leading exponents of the novachord, an instrument of the electric-organ class, which, however, has a diversity of range and effects all of its own.
