The feature film starring George Burns, John Denver, Teri Garr
One morning Jerry Landers, assistant manager at a Californian supermarket, receives an invitation in the post for an interview with God. Unconvinced by a disembodied voice, Jerry is honoured by a personal appearance - a senior citizen wearing baggy trousers, anorak, sneakers and baseball cap, who sports a talent for throwaway gags.
Octogenarian comedian George Burns made his second triumphant come-back in this sparkling comedy about the perils of divine intervention.
