A programme for children at home.
Storyteller this week, Athene Seyler

A number of animals have appeared on Play School since the programme began four months ago: by now some are resident 'regulars'. Peter the Rabbit who consumes a great deal of lettuce is one of these, as are the two fish, Bit and Bot, and the snails in the water tank; and of course there are also the two white mice, Henry and Henrietta. There have been other visitors too - puppies and kittens, a parrot, a frog, and two worms in a jar. Perhaps the most striking actor has been a cockerel who never fails to crow exactly on cue.
