In the second of this week's programmes from Salzburg the major work is Mahler's Das Lied von der
Erde. The Vienna Philharmonic is conducted by Kent Nagano (replacing the injured Pierre Boulez ) with soloists Simon Keelyside (baritone) and Michael Schade (tenor) who talks to Graeme Kay about the pleasures of Salzburg, Mahler and Mozart. And Peter Wachter gives a view of the Festival from the front desk of the Vienna Philharmonic.
