In February 1568 the Heir to the Throne of Bavaria, Duke Wilhelm, married Princess Renée of Lorraine. The Munich wedding and the fortnight-long celebrations which followed were chronicled in a series of dialogues by Massimo Troiano, one of the singers in the court Kapelle. His Dialoghi are the basis of this three-part feature, with Leo McKern, Cyril Shaps, Taverner Consort, Choir and Players, Natural Trumpet Ensemble or The Schola Cantorum Basiliensis
