In memory of the distinguished French baritone, Radio 3 is repeating a programme in which he remembers his song duo of 25 years with Poulenc. Bernac also gives a performance, recorded in 1977 with Graham John-son, of Poulenc's charming L'histoire de Babar, Ie petit elephant.
