I Never Sang for My Father by ROBERT ANDERSON
Tom is a self-made man, ex-Mayor of Westchester county and an ex-vice president. In his old age he has become self-centred and unreasonable, especially to his two children. Gene wants to love his father and be loved in return but it is a strained relationship, clouded by death.
