[Photo caption] Rolf Harris learns about the simple bear necessities of wildlife in Olympic-mad Sydney when he relocates to the Animal Hospital in Oz
Factual: Animal Hospital in Oz 8.20pm BBC1
Australia's wildlife can kill you. It is home to some of the most poisonous reptiles and insects on earth and to some of the planet's most weird and wonderful creatures. It is also Rolf Harris's native land, so who better to present this two-parter than Aussie's most famous export. He returns in the run-up to the Olympics to discover how the Games have impacted on the fauna and to meet some of Sydney's animal lovers. Green and gold bullfrogs are an endangered species so when it was decided to build the Olympic Village on their habitat, they built around them. It has frog tunnels and fences to accommodate amphibians. Also featured is the fruit bat, considered to be among the greatest pests to farmers, who have at least a few friends in the Gough family.
