This week's edition comes from a lightning simulator laboratory at the University of Manchester. Using a two million volt generator, scientists show how a lightning bolt can travel more easily through a brick wall than thin air. The aim of the research is to improve lightning protection systems.
Also, a new treatment for fretful dogs that can't stand being separated from their owners.
