with Dennis Cornish
Last of the series.
For over 100 years the Abbey Gardens on Tresco in the Isles of Scilly enjoyed a reputation for their exotic sub-tropical plants and trees. But the winter of 1987 changed that - snow, followed by weeks of a bitterly cold east wind caused the loss of 70 per cent of this unique collection.
Dennis Cornish follows the progress of the gardens as they gradually regain their former glory.
