For the 25th consecutive year, BBC Outside Broadcast cameras are at Aintree, covering the main races on all three days of the 1985 Seagram Grand National meeting. Since last year some of the familiar surroundings have disappeared - withered with age or ravaged by fire - but on the greatest steeplechase course in the world all the formidable fences remain. Today's first two featured races are on the Mildmay course.
