And Sue Cook introducing stories from BBC television and radio studios around the country. Children in Need exists to help deprived or handicapped children throughout the country.
Every penny raised goes in direct help to the children. Over El million has been distributed to children since last year's Appeal and tonight's programmes include reports on the wide variety of projects that were given help during 1984.
