Starring Sean Connery, Trevor Howard, Ian Bannen, Vivien Merchant

Following an assault on a young schoolgirl - one of several vicious attacks on children in the area - a suspect, Baxter, is brought in for questioning, and subjected to a lengthy, eventually brutal, interrogation by Det. Sgt Johnson. In his frantic search to discover 'something like the truth', Johnson displays severe signs of mental stress. He, and everyone concerned, is to find that revealing the 'truth' can be a terrifying and traumatic experience. John Hopkins's controversial play 2This Story of Yours" has been brilliantly transposed to the screen by its original author.
