Part 1
Competitive horse driving is more a way of life than a sport. It's also expensive; at least L8,000 a year to run a four-in-hand team.
In the first of two programmes, three competitors prepare for the 1983 trials at Sandringham. Prince Philip has the use of the Queen's bays and Windsor Park to practise in - but little spare time. Karen Bassett depends on support from family and friends. And for Suffolk blacksmith Andy Mills it's all down to do-it-yourself and a consuming passion for a new hobby.
