The Brontes at Haworth
'Charlotte has been writing a book, and it is much better than likely!' Each year thousands of visitors tread the cobbled streets of Haworth, and the paths across the encircling moors. They follow in the footsteps of the Bronte family who arrived here in 1820 when six children followed their father to his new church and the parsonage. They lived out their brief lives here, and by their writings they were to make themselves and Haworth immortal.
