A series of four true case histories about girls who ran away and the homes they left.
3: Alison Watkins - an anorexic escaping from a dominant mother. In these dramatised reconstructions only the names have been changed.
Alison left a seemingly happy home, a family of three clever girls, a diligent father and a dominant but caring mother, in order to survive. Mrs Watkins wanted nothing but the best for her daughters, yet Alison lost nearly four stones in weight, became nervous and constantly flared up into abusive tempers. Why? Was anyone to blame? Surely not a caring mother?
