A journey along Italy's most important river.

Two thousand years ago the River Po was where southern civilisation stopped and northern barbarism began. But in the valley of the Po the people are united in one essential - a love of beauty in all forms.
Tonight's film examines some of the ways in which they try to apply this approach to life.
