A season of their comedy films
A Hal Roach film

Stan and Ollie as a pair of chimney sweeps become involved with a mad scientist.
During their joint film careers, which began in 1926 with Putting Pants on Philip, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy made more than fifty two-reelers, and Dirty Work stands among the best of these. Made in 1933, it falls within the period 1930-1940 which found this incomparable pair at the very peak of their form.

It isn't only financiers who can buy and sell things they never own - don't have the money to pay for in the first place and end up rich. There was a little woman once - she knew.

starring Edward G. Robinson, Kevin McCarthy

A young musician has a nightmare in which he apparently kills a man in a mirrored room - but gradually he discovers evidence that it was not just a dream... Kevin McCarthy, whose other notable film roles include the elder son in Stanley Kramer's production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and the leading role in Don Siegal's Invasion of the Body Snatchers, gives a fine performance as the young musician. His sister is the well-known American novelist Mary McCarthy.
