During their joint film careers, which began in 1926 with Putting Pants on Philip, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy made more than fifty two-reelers, and Dirty Work stands among the best of these. Made in 1933, it falls within the period 1930-1940 which found this incomparable pair at the very peak of their form.
