The Saturday Thriller: Nightmare

on BBC One London

starring Edward G. Robinson, Kevin McCarthy

A young musician has a nightmare in which he apparently kills a man in a mirrored room - but gradually he discovers evidence that it was not just a dream... Kevin McCarthy, whose other notable film roles include the elder son in Stanley Kramer's production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and the leading role in Don Siegal's Invasion of the Body Snatchers, gives a fine performance as the young musician. His sister is the well-known American novelist Mary McCarthy.
