The court of enquiry into the shipbuilding and engineering disputes drew attention to some of the effects of demarcation between jobs. Mr. Nicolson examines the difficulties and fears that will have to be overcome before this problem can be satisfactorily settled.

Today is the centenary of the first episode in that series of undisciplined outbursts in the ranks of the Indian Army which we know as the Indian Mutiny. Dr. Sen, lately Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, is the author of a new history of the ' mutiny ' to be published in India this year. In this programme he gives an account of his own view of an event which, in some quarters in India, is popularly thought of as the first war of independence.
