Hans Henkemans , who is well known in Holland as both pianist and composer, was born at The Hague in 1913. His Two-piano Sonata, composed in 1943, is in four movements.

2—The ' Paper Museum' of Cassiano dal Pozzo Cassiano dal Pozzo was an example of what the Renaissance called the 'complete man.' Without being himself an artist or writer, he played a leading part in the intellectual life of Baroque Rome and of the European world of his day. Interested in plant and bird life, he was, however, best known for his collection of records of ancient Rome, to which Nicolas Poussin , Pietro Testa , and other artists of his day contributed drawings. A fragment of this ' paper museum' survives in the collection of architectural drawings in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle. For some years Mr. Noach has been cataloguing this collection.
